These plate proofs were used in the pre-production
prototypes phase when these cards were being designed for
production. These were never released into packs or
to the public,
thus making them a true rare collectible item.
Originaly from uncut sheets, most have been cut down card by card. These were cut professionally and are to actual card size in most cases.
The backside of these cards is a bright silver (or chrome if you prefer) sillouhette of the front of the card. In some cases, we also have the prototype of the back of the card.
The cards are paper thin, however the depth of the image on the front of these cards is as good or better than the refractor parallels that came in these releases.

Any
specks or irregularities in these pictures are from the scanner.
The cards are perfect, and
these pictures still do not to the card justice.
